Warranties and Complaints

At Mountain Breeze Solar & Battery Solutions, we pride ourselves on quality workmanship and high-performance products. Our services and products are backed by robust guarantees designed to give you peace of mind.

Statutory Consumer Guarantees

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with services, you are entitled:

  • To cancel your service contract with us; and

  • To a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the problem rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to cancel the contract for the service and obtain a refund of any unused portion.

Product and Workmanship Warranties

  • Product Warranties: Solar panels, inverters, and battery systems carry manufacturer warranties (typically ranging from 5 to 25 years depending on the specific hardware brand). We will assist you in lodging and managing any manufacturer warranty claims.

  • Workmanship Warranty: We provide a workmanship warranty covering the installation quality of our licenced team. If an issue arises directly from our installation work, we will rectify it promptly.

Complaints Handling Process

If you have a concern or complaint regarding our products, services, or staff, we want to resolve it as quickly as possible:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out to our customer service team via phone or email with the details of your issue.

  2. Investigation: We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days and investigate the root cause.

  3. Resolution: We aim to provide a fair resolution or action plan within 5 to 10 business days.

If your complaint relates to an installation or electrical issue, our management team will coordinate a priority site visit with one of our senior technicians.
